OUR TEACHING METHOD
Every Chewy Math lesson follows a proven four-step structure that builds deep mathematical understanding. Developed by our founder with over 19 years of teaching experience.
Logic — Every lesson begins with conceptual understanding. We use bar models, visual tools, and concrete examples so your child understands WHY a method works.
In practice: Before teaching any procedure, we ask: Does this make sense to you?
Equation — Once the logic is understood, students learn to express it mathematically. We build the equation fluency needed to tackle high-weightage PSLE problems and advanced algebraic expressions.
Application — Scaffolded practice moves from guided to independent. Carefully sequenced questions that increase in difficulty.
Patterns — The highest level of mathematical thinking: recognising patterns across topics. The secret to conquering non-routine Paper 2 questions and securing an AL1.

Joining the Faculty
We are looking for dedicated educators who are ready to make a difference in the lives of our students through mastery-based learning.
Syllabus Proficiency
Proficient in the current Primary Math Syllabus (Singapore MOE).
Proven Experience
At least 3 years of consistent teaching or tutoring experience.
Academic Background
Possess a degree in a related field (Mathematics, Education, Engineering, etc). NIE-Trained preferred.
Flexible Availability
Availability to teach on Weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
Communication Skills
Able to explain complex Math concepts confidently and effectively to young learners.
